RBMA announces new name for annual marketing conference

The Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) announced Friday that it has renamed its annual Building Better Radiology Marketing conference. The conference’s new name, SPARK, goes into effect immediately, and the 2018 SPARK conference is scheduled for June 3-6, 2018.

“This was a perfect time to rebrand as the RBMA is engaged in a larger effort to redesign its offerings to better serve its members,” Dianne Keen, 2018 SPARK committee chair, said in a prepared statement. “SPARK is more than a new name. For 2018, we are refocusing on what makes the annual conference for radiology marketers so valuable to attendees, including fostering the spark that happens when high-energy marketers meet and collaborate face to face.”

The conference is home to RBMA’s Quest awards, which are given out to groups for achievements in marketing. “The Quest awards draw in some of the best examples of radiology practice marketing and provide ideas and inspiration that all attendees benefit from,” Keen said in the same statement.

More information about SPARK is available on RBMA’s website.
