Volpara Solutions announces new chief marketing officer

Volpara Solutions has announced that Julian Marshall, who has more than 20 years of experience in the breast imaging technology industry, is the company’s new chief marketing officer. Most recently, Marshall served as Hologic’s director of global strategic innovation.

“I’m excited to join Volpara Solutions because the company has demonstrated an ability to deliver on a vision of personalized breast health, with which I wholeheartedly agree,” Marshall said in a prepared statement. “With a wealth of expertise in breast image analysis, Volpara is paving the way to improving the overall quality of breast imaging procedures and I am proud to support the team’s efforts to ensure that every woman receives the best mammogram she can possibly get.”

Ralph Highnam, PhD, Volpara Solutions CEO, said in the same statement that Marshall’s experience is perfect for the new position and will have an impact from day one.

“With substantial expertise in image analysis and breast imaging workflow, Julian will immediately bolster Volpara’s goal of utilizing digital health solutions and data analytics to ensure women receive the best breast care available,” Highnam said. “His combined expertise in engineering and global product management is unique and we expect this to help drive the continued growth and adoption of our suite of quantitative imaging tools.”
