Under terms of the deal, Cleveland-based University Hospitals will add “hundreds” of new radiology systems across its enterprise. 

Such reports helped improve preparedness for appointments, enhance conversations with physicians and bolster patients' understanding of treatment recommendations, survey responses show.

Physicians in teaching settings reported higher monthly reading volumes alongside heavier demands for nonclinical work, according to new survey data.

“We are pleased to have them rejoin our networks, and we appreciate their partnership in serving our members,” said BlueCross EVP Scott Pierce.

That’s according to a new single-center analysis from Vanderbilt University Medical Center published in JAMA Health Forum.

Few level 1 trauma centers employ such a position, typically tasked with fielding phone calls from referrers, triaging requests to residents and relaying critical results. 

“After back and forth correspondence, and multiple phone calls, we are thrilled to announce that this campaign was successful,” one of the trade groups said. 

The Addison, Texas-based imaging group is teaming with Jefferson Health to open more than a dozen new centers in the Philadelphia area.
