New Accreditation Requirements for Ultrasound and Breast Ultrasound

New American College of Radiology quality control (QC) requirements for ultrasound and breast ultrasound will take effect June 1, 2014. The updated requirements apply to all imaging facilities -- both those applying for ACR accreditation in these modalities and those already accredited in these modalities. The requirements are posted in the accreditation section of the ACR website under ultrasound accreditation program requirements and breast ultrasound accreditation program requirements.
