Florida radiologist puts patients first
The Palm Beach Post out of West Palm Beach, Fla., profiled a radiologist this week who stands out for being so mindful about her patients.
Orna Hadar, MD, works at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Fla. Hadar told the newspaper she does everything in her power to make patients feel comfortable when they see her for their annual mammograms.
She also said she doesn’t like to make patients wait for mammogram results.
“I don’t want any of my patients leaving their mammogram unsure of their status,” Hadar said, as quoted by in the story. “I read the results right then and there—and then bring them in so we can discuss them.”
