MedSmart radiology director advises new grads to display compassion, strength

The University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) put a spotlight on 2007 graduate Jeremy Cope, who currently serves as the radiology director for Henderson, Nev.-based MedSmart.

Cope was asked what kind of advice he would give to a new graduate of the school, and his message was clear: “Treat every day like it is a job interview.”

“Never forget that in healthcare we are caring for people at the most vulnerable; they need your compassion and strength,” Cope said.
