New documentary puts spotlight on ‘music on ribs'

In February, HealthImaging.com shared the story of music fans in the USSR hiding Western music on x-rays when it was banned. At the time, it was known as “music on ribs” or “jazz on bones.”

The Vinyl Factory has now produced a short documentary on the subject called “X-Ray Audio: The Documentary.”
