Physicians in India, including radiologists, facing threats and abuse on a daily basis

Doctors in India are demanding improved security as government hospitals grow more and more dangerous, according to India Today. Physicians are commonly threatened and attacked, and the problem has led to numerous strikes.

One particular story paints a picture of how life is for imaging specialists throughout the region. A man, 30, broke into the department of radiology at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India.

"If you do not conduct the CT scan of my wife, I will kill you," he said, according to India Today.
