It turns out video instruction could be just as useful as in-person instruction for some types of imaging training, according to a study published in the American Journal of Roentgenology.

The American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) previewed its 2016 ARRS Abdominal and Pelvic MR Imaging Symposium earlier this week. The symposium will be held at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, Md., from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1, 2016.  

The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) are teaming up in an effort to advance the adoption and capabilities of enterprise-wide image sharing strategies.

According to CMS's latest attestation data, some 4,720 unique diagnostic radiologists have at least one year of participation in Stage 1 or Stage 2 Meaningful Use under their belts. This cohort has made around 9,000 unique attestations since 2011, showing quantifiable and clinically significant use of certified EHR technology.
