The Los Angeles-based imaging center operator believes its expanding management team is "indicative of strong momentum" within RadNet's business lines. 

The El Segundo, California-based practice’s Clinical Value Team surveyed nearly 600 physicians, gathering feedback on what they desire in imaging results. 

Its decision drew concern from the radiology community, which has fought to increase awareness around this alternative to colonoscopy. 

The groups are concerned that the rule could result in billing errors, inadvertent payment denials and slow claims processing. 

Experts said that radiologists, along with others who order imaging, stand to benefit from the bipartisan proposal. 

Researchers with NYC Health + Hospitals detailed their large-scale quality improvement project in the Journal of the American College of Radiology.

Full professors in imaging earned median compensation of about $500,320 between 2015-2022, researchers wrote in JAMA.

The college issued a detailed breakdown of the 2024 MPFS, offering insight into the “complex” formula for how much the specialty stands to lose.
