| The Month in Review | Editor's Note: What would your company do if it had $700 million in cash on its books? This is the enviable position that RadNet finds itself in after a series of financial maneuvers, including refinancing debts and raising funds through a public stock offering. CEO Howard Berger, MD, has growth on his mind, with the company currently only operating in eight states concentrated around the coasts. RadNet isn’t even in some of America’s most populus geographies yet, such as Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio or Georgia. It just entered Houston recently and, by all accounts, things are going well there. The company has been a picture of financial discipline with debts dwindling while revenues continue roaring. I’ll be interested to see where they take this ride. Thanks for reading and have a happy 4th. —Marty Stempniak Editor's Note: What would your company do if it had $700 million in cash on its books?
