ACR Program Introduces New App

The American Institute for Radiologic Pathology (AIRP), a program of the American College of Radiology, has unveiled a new iPad® edition of the 2011 AIRP Radiologic Pathology Correlation Course Syllabus. The app allows users to purchase course materials from the AIRP “rad-path” syllabus. In addition to course materials for more than 125 searchable AIRP lectures (available for individual purchase), it features free downloadable seminar materials, annotation- and note-sharing capabilities, and an in-app medical dictionary. Enlargeable images and faculty profiles are included as well. This app was designed with today’s radiologist in mind; it provides convenience, portability and most importantly, access to the latest rad-path course material at the swipe of a finger,” says AIRP Physician-in-Chief Mark D. Murphey, MD. “In its first two days of availability, it has been downloaded more than 600 times in 51 countries.” Available for purchase now, the app will also be updated regularly with the latest course material pertaining to AIRP’s rad-path and categorical courses.
