Carestream Health awarded $571 million from Department of Defense

Carestream Health has won a $571 million contract with the Department of Defense (DOD), with earnings going toward radiology systems, accessories and training.

27 bids were received for the 5-year firm-fixed-price with indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. This contract will position Carestream to supply equipment to the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and other federal civilian agencies.  

Contract work which will be funded by defense working capital funds from fiscal year 2017-2022 will be performed in New York with a December 2021 completion date.
