Founder of New York's Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology dies at 94

According to New York News, well-known physician, Jerome Zwanger, MD, died April 29 at the age of 94.

Zwanger graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a chemistry degree in 1944 and received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School in 1947. A few years later, he became assistant director of radiology at Long Island College Hospital and established a Massapequa radiology practice, later developed into the Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology Group.

Zwanger co-founded the practice with friend and partner, Ergi John Pesiri, MD who died in November 2016.
