GE Healthcare Imaging names Tom McGuinness president, CEO
GE Healthcare recently named Tom McGuinness as the new president and CEO of its imaging business on June 11, according to an internal report from GE Healthcare. McGuinness originally joined GE Healthcare as chief strategy and commercial officer in 2016.
Currently based at GE Healthcare's headquarters in Chicago, McGuinness oversees all aspects of GE's imaging technologies and services, including MR, CT, PET, nuclear medicine, x-rays, women's health, interventional surgery, imaging analytics and software.
McGuinness brings 20-plus years of healthcare leadership experience in managing medical technology.
"GE Healthcare Imaging remains committed to providing our customers with outcomes-based solutions that help improve patient care," Ben Fox, director of global communications at GE Healthcare, Imaging & Clinical Care Solutions, told Health Imaging. "This internal organizational change does not impact the priority we place on customer service and partnership."
