Houston radiologist named 2015 Physician of the Year by Memorial Hermann

Radiology Partners has announced that Dean Chauvin, MD, was named 2015 Physician of the Year by Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center. Chauvin is a member of Radiology Partners Houston.

“I’m truly humbled to receive this award,” Chauvin said in a prepared statement. “It is the support of my colleagues and team at Memorial Hermann Memorial City as well as the clinical and operational resources of Radiology Partners Houston that have made this happen. I am honored to serve my patients and grateful they trust me with their care.”

Employees from Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center nominated Chauvin, who serves as the director of interventional radiology for Radiology Partners Houston as well as a diplomate for the American Board of Radiology, for the award.

“Dr. Chauvin’s strong ability to connect and collaborate makes him an invaluable physician at Radiology Partners Houston and to his patients,” Rich Whitney, Radiology Partners chairman and CEO, said in the same statement. “He embodies everything a patient and colleague should expect from a physician, and we’re proud he is a part of our practice.”
