Iowa rad provides insight into best practices at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

In a new commentary, Kris Messner, the manager of radiology imaging services at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa, discusses his experience when he visited the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The piece, published in Link, a newsletter provided by the Association for Medical Imaging Management, revealed the forward-thinking management styles at CHOP that Messner wants to incorporate in his own practice.

Messner, who visited the hospital through the Partners in Learning Program, gives advice in the piece to radiologists on how to manage employees and improve productivity.
