Dennis Durmis named new chair of MITA Board of Directors

The Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA) has announced that Bayer’s Dennis Durmis will serve as the new chair of the MITA Board of Directors.

Durmis is the senior vice president of the Americas region for Bayer Radiology. He has been with the company for more than 19 years.

“It is an honor to serve as the next chair of MITA Board of Directors,” Durmis said in a prepared statement. “The medical imaging landscape is rapidly changing, and MITA and its members are at the forefront of advancing the latest innovations and technological developments. I look forward to leading MITA during this exciting time.”

“We look forward to his leadership as chair to guide MITA during this very important time in the medical imaging industry,” Patrick Hope, executive director of MITA, said in the same statement.
