The Radiology Business Management Association on Sunday named two new leaders to replace the retiring Bob Still.
Longtime staffer Jessica Struve and association member Linda Wilgus, MBA, will serve as co-executive directors under a new shared leadership structure. RBMA saw strong interest in the position, with over 100 applicants since the organization launched the search process last year.
“This model allows RBMA the benefit of leadership with complementing professional experience from nationally recognized and exceptionally talented leaders,” Board President Christopher “Kit” Crancer, with Rayus Radiology, said in a statement shared Monday morning. “It also gives each leader the ability to focus on their core strengths and areas of expertise, while working collaboratively and supporting each other in service.”
Struve is RBMA’s deputy executive director, a role she’s held since March 2021 after first joining the organization in 2012 as member services manager. Her career in association management spans 20 years, with Struve previously working as a component relations manager at the Pennsylvania Dental Association. She is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and the American Society of Association Executives’ Leadership Academy.
“It has been an honor serving this organization for the past 12 years, and I embrace this opportunity to lead RBMA with a relentless dedication to its mission alongside Linda,” Struve said in the announcement.
Wilgus, meanwhile, has been executive director for Northwest Radiology Network, a private practice based in Indianapolis, since 1996. She also currently is the organization’s chief financial officer and is a past president of the RBMA. Wilgus has served on advisory boards to numerous organizations, among them, the Radiology Business Managers Association and the Indiana Radiology Business Managers Association. She graduated from Indiana University with high distinction and collected her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
“Jessica and I both have a similar passion for this organization, and we look forward to bringing that forward every day as we continue the vital work of RBMA,” Wilgus said in the announcement.
Both are slated to take over the executive director role on July 1 after the retirement of Still, who has led RBMA since 2017. Struve will focus on the association’s internal operations, managing staff, programming and governance. Wilgus will concentrate on advocacy and external relationships, according to the announcement. Both were introduced on stage at RBMA’s annual meeting, which is taking place from April 14-17 in Las Vegas.
