Radiology provider Lumexa Imaging appoints chief growth officer

Lumexa Imaging is appointing a new chief growth officer as the publicly traded radiology provider pursues further expansion of its platform.

Keith Lynch is taking on the title after previously serving as senior VP of strategy and development at SCA Health, a prominent ambulatory surgery center operator. In his new role at Lumexa, Lynch will focus on enterprise growth strategy, expanding the Raleigh, North Carolina-based company through joint ventures, acquisitions and building new centers.

CEO Caitlin Zulla said his track record will be essential as Lumexa seeks to improve imaging center performance and expand geographically.

“Kyle brings a powerful combination of strategic insight, execution discipline and commercial leadership,” Zulla said in a statement April 20.

As CGO, Lynch also will be tasked with targeting ideas for expansion, executing transactions and helping to realize the value of deals after closing. He’ll work closely with the CEO, CFO, chief strategy officer and operations leadership, ensuring expansion efforts align with the organization’s long-term financial objectives. Lynch also will work to drive sustainable growth and maximize return on invested capital, bolstering long-term financial objectives.

“Lumexa Imaging has built a differentiated platform grounded in clinical excellence, operational rigor, and a strong patient and provider experience,” he said in a statement. “I look forward to partnering with the leadership team to scale that platform, expand access to high-quality care, and deliver long-term value for patients, partners and shareholders.”

Lynch also will lead Lumexa’s Sales Center of Excellence, seeking to enhance sales productivity, standardize performance metrics and drive referral growth nationwide. Formerly known as US Radiology Specialists, Lumexa was formed in 2018 as a joint venture between Charlotte Radiology and New York private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe. The company now employs over 5,000 team members operating across 185 outpatient imaging centers in 13 states. Lumexa handled approximately 4 million outpatient imaging procedures last year.
