Rayus Radiology leader becomes RBMA board president, plus more company news
RBMA announced its new board of directors on Wednesday following the association’s annual meeting recently held in Hollywood, Florida.
Christopher “Kit” Crancer, senior VP of public policy and radiologist partnerships at Rayus Radiology, is the organization’s new president. He takes over for Mass General Brigham’s Shannon Wilson, who will continue serving as the Radiology Business Management Association’s immediate past president.
“I’m honored to have been chosen to lead such a tremendously impactful organization,” Crancer said in a statement. “Now more than ever, we must work to end the chronic cycle of devastating cuts to radiology under the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule and ensure our patients have access to high-quality, timely care,” he added later.
Meanwhile, Advocate Revenue Cycle Management’s Pete Moffatt is RBMA’s new president-elect after previously serving as a director at large. Envision Healthcare’s C. Chad Wiggins will continue as the association’s treasurer, while ARA Diagnostic Imaging’s Stacy Sanso remains as secretary and parliamentarian. Other new directors include Kevin McDermott of AIM Specialty Health, Donald Miller of Inland Imaging, and Julie Szeker with US Radiology Specialists.
