Ring takes seat on Broward Foundation Board

David H. Ring, M.D., Jr., has been appointed to the Broward Health Foundation board of directors.

Ring is president of North Broward Radiologists, a 22-physician private radiology practice based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, providing professional diagnostic and interventional radiology services to five Broward Health hospitals.

“I am proud to be a part of a distinguished philanthropic organization, and thrilled to have the opportunity to support and give back to Broward Health System and our community,” he said in a statement.

The mission of Broward Health Foundation, the health system’s fundraising arm, is to improve the health of the community by providing resources to promote, support and enhance the programs and initiatives of Broward Health. An interventional and vascular radiologist, Ring will assist the Foundation with several community initiatives.

“We are excited to welcome him to the team as we continue to strive to provide world-class healthcare to our community,” said Dennis Stefanacci, president and CEO of the Broward Health Foundation.
