Radiology Partners Research Institute highlights accomplishments from first 6 months

Radiology Partners announced Wednesday, June 27, that the research sector of its practice, Radiology Partners Research Institute (RPRI), “has seen early success in its scholarly efforts” since launching in January.

RPRI members have authored papers in journals such as Radiology, the American Journal of Roentgenology and the Journal of the American College of Radiology and participated at numerous industry meetings in 2018.

“We are extremely proud of this work, demonstrating that a motivated private practice can make meaningful academic contributions,” Jay Bronner, MD, director of RPRI and chief medical officer of Radiology Partners, said in a prepared statement. “We’re thankful for partners that share our mission of advancing radiology and enhancing the value of imaging for all involved in the healthcare continuum.”

“When we founded Radiology Partners, it was with the ideal that we would provide outstanding clinical care,” Rich Whitney, chairman and CEO of Radiology Partners, said in the same statement. “Through RRPI, we are proving that we can do that and so much more. We know radiology has a key role to play in improving value across healthcare, and we are proud to be helping lead that movement.”

In other news, Radiology Partners also announced that the University of South Florida has joined RPRI.
