Sectra signs $20.4M enterprise imaging contract with academic health system

Sectra has signed a $20.4 million enterprise imaging contract with a large academic health system, the Linköping, Sweden-headquartered vendor announced Wednesday.

The unnamed U.S. university conducts about 2 million imaging exams each year across more than 10 hospitals. Sectra said it will oversee the provider’s entire radiology infrastructure via its cloud-based software service. The contract covers monitoring, optimization, upgrades and cybersecurity.

This is the second contract Sectra has announced this week with an unspecified U.S. healthcare organization. The company on Monday touted a $16 million enterprise imaging deal with a Midwest radiology provider that covers multiple states.
