Radiology information systems market to be worth over $720 million by 2019

The radiology information systems (RIS) market is projected to be worth $722.7 million by 2019, according to a new report from the market research firm MarketsandMarkets.

The RIS market was worth approximately $501.1 million in 2014, the report said, and a compound annual growth rate of 7.6 percent is expected from then until 2019.

“Factors such as improved healthcare information technology systems, growth in the incidence rate of chronic diseases, increase in government funding for cancer-related researches, and rise in demand for better healthcare services are some of the key drivers responsible for the growth of the Radiology Information Systems Market,” the report said.
