Radiology Partners affiliate inks in-network deal with Florida Blue
A Radiology Partners affiliate has inked an in-network deal with Florida Blue, the practice announced Thursday.
Jacksonville-based Mori, Bean and Brooks Inc. said the new agreement is retroactive to Nov. 1 and spans multiple years. With it, all MBB locations—including those that have transitioned from Envision Healthcare to Rad Partners—will be in-network with Florida’s largest health insurer.
The Nashville, Tennessee-based multispecialty group announced in April it was exiting radiology, with Rad Partners taking on its 400 physicians.
“This agreement underscores MBB’s leadership in delivering value-driven care and reinforces the practice’s longstanding reputation as a trusted partner to health systems, physicians and payers across the state,” the practice said in a Nov. 20 announcement.
Founded in 1968, Mori, Bean and Brooks joined Rad Partners in 2018, RP’s second Florida practice partnership at the time. The radiology firm’s divisions now include Boca Radiology Group, Miami Vascular Specialists, Radiology Associates of Florida and Bethesda Radiology Associates. Rad Partners, meanwhile, is the largest imaging group in the U.S., employing over 4,000 physicians and serving 3,400-plus client sites.
Earlier this week, RP also announced the acquisition of AI firm Cognita Imaging for $80 million. You can read our previous coverage of Mori, Bean and Brooks at the links below.
