Radiology Partners announces partnership with Access Radiology

Radiology Partners announced Wednesday, March 28, that it has entered into a new partnership with Access Radiology, the largest radiology practice in Louisiana. Access Radiology currently employs a team of 40 physicians and provides care the Slidell, Lake Charles and Alexandria areas.

“We chose to partner with Radiology Partners because of their single-specialty emphasis,” Donald Thomas, MD, president of Access Radiology, said in a prepared statement. “Their commitment to transform radiology through a strategic and innovative approach to data analytics and to value-based care aligns with our mission and will seamlessly integrate into our clinical practice.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome Access Radiology to Radiology Partners’ expanding practice,” said Rich Whitney, Radiology Partners’ chairman and CEO, said in the same statement. “They are known for providing outstanding clinical quality with a focus on subspecialty coverage and exceptional client service.”

This marks Radiology Partners' entry into two new states: Louisiana and Mississippi.
