Radiology Partners investing over $5M to build new headquarters in downtown Nashville
Radiology Partners, the largest imaging group in the U.S., is investing $5.4 million to open new state-of-the-art offices in Nashville, Tennessee.
The practice and its technology services division have inked a lease to become a key piece of Nashville Yards, a massive mixed-use development in the “heart of the nation’s healthcare capital,” RP said.
Rad Partners previously announced one year ago that it was planning to depart from its headquarters in the Los Angeles County coastal community of El Segundo, California. The imaging group officially ended its lease there in July 2025 and has functioned as a remote-based organization since, with a mailing address in Austin, Texas, serving as an interim HQ.
In an announcement shared with Radiology Business Wednesday, RP touted Nashville as the “epicenter of American healthcare.” It’s home to hundreds such companies, including HCA, the nation’s largest hospital system, and over 900 other healthcare services companies generating more than $72 billion annually.
“Nashville is the country’s most important healthcare hub and one of the only places in the country where healthcare and technology are converging at this scale, which makes it the ideal home for our headquarters,” Rich Whitney, MBA, chairman and CEO of Rad Partners, said in a statement. “Being part of this ecosystem strengthens our ability to collaborate and innovate alongside the organizations shaping the future of healthcare, helping us advance our mission to transform radiology while delivering even greater value to our clients, referring physicians and—most importantly—the tens of millions of patients we serve.”

The new headquarters will house both RP Clinical Services and Mosaic Clinical Technologies, the company’s recently launched AI division. Rad Partners will occupy approximately 26,000 square feet in the Creative Artists Agency building located at 955 Church Street. The offices will serve as a center for executives, technology innovation and client engagement, RP said, bringing its teams “closer to hospital systems, imaging partners and technology collaborators driving the future of radiology.”
Rad Partners said its new headquarters is designed as a “working and collaboration space.” It will offer dedicated areas for meetings, industry events, training programs and live demonstration of Mosaic’s clinical intelligence and AI capabilities. RP expects to move into the new offices in February 2027. The imaging group was represented by Jake Bobek, JT Martin, Jonathan Dezzutti, and Alexandra Rule of CBRE, which helped find and lease the new HQ.
“Radiology Partners is a leader in technology-enabled healthcare in the United States,” Cary Mack, managing partner of Southwest Value Partners, which is spearheading the Nashville Yards development, said in the announcement. “They are an excellent addition to the growing community of industry-leading companies choosing to relocate to Nashville Yards, and we welcome them to the campus.”
Founded in 2012, Radiology Partners represents a collection of practices across the U.S., operating in all 50 states. Backed by Whistler Capital Partners and New Enterprise Associates, RP employs over 4,000 radiologists, servicing 3,400 client sites and handling over 55 million cases per year.
The Nashville Business Journal first reported news of the RP lease on Aug. 19 after builders pulled permits for the project. Reporter Sophia Young notes that the radiology group will occupy the sixth floor of the building, with the office incorporating multiple open workspaces, a dozen-plus private suites, small and large conference rooms and a patio. Other tenants in the $1 billion development will include the Creative Artists Agency, Amazon Music and L-Acoustics, according to the Journal.
