Intelerad Announces Tomosynthesis support in IntelePACS

Intelerad Medical Systems announced at SIIM 2012 the support for Tomosynthesis in the IntelePACS Breast Imaging module. The Intelerad Breast Imaging module offers a universal worklist that eliminates the need for dedicated workstations and gives access to multi-modality images regardless of where radiologists read from, with option to integrate with a breast imaging, reporting and data system (BIRADS). “Intelerad’s new Tomosynthesis module seamlessly adds new modality capabilities into the existing mammography workflow and viewing environment, with no additional capital investment for new workstations” says Rick Rubin, Chief Engineering Officer at Intelerad.
