RLI Executive Leadership Symposium headed to Virginia in June

The Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI) Executive Leadership Symposium is scheduled for June 20-22, 2018, at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City in Arlington, Virginia.

The symposium was developed to help attendees learn techniques for running their practice or radiology department more efficiently, provide value-based care, maximize reimbursement and “better understand the financial implications of leadership decisions.”

“This is the only case-based conference focused on specific challenges that senior-level private practice and academic radiology leaders face” Lawrence R. Muroff, MD, faculty chair of the RLI Executive Leadership Symposium, said in a prepared statement. “It is an ideal course for your entire executive committee to attend to enhance the educational experience and better ensure implementation of appropriate new approaches across an organization.”

More information is available on the RLI’s website.

News of an incident is a stark reminder that healthcare workers and patients aren’t the only ones who need to be aware around MRI suites.

The ACR hopes these changes, including the addition of diagnostic performance feedback, will help reduce the number of patients with incidental nodules lost to follow-up each year.

And it can do so with almost 100% accuracy as a first reader, according to a new large-scale analysis.
