One of the nation’s largest mobile imaging providers gets even bigger with latest acquisition

One of the largest providers of mobile imaging services in the U.S. is getting even bigger via a recent acquisition.

West Fargo, North Dakota-headquartered DMS Health Technologies announced the move on March 3, finalizing its purchase of Advanced Imaging Management. The latter is based near Houston and is a national provider of mobile MRI and ultrasound systems, according to an announcement.

DMS Health Technologies did not disclose terms of the deal, which closed on March 1. Advanced Imaging Management employees have immediately joined the acquiring firm, which is automatically transferring over contracts, services and care from AIM.

“DMS is committed to meeting the growing demand of hospitals and health systems for high-quality, affordable mobile imaging solutions,” DMS Health Technologies CEO Patrick Doyle said in a statement. “AIM’s national reach and reputation for quality care and service are an ideal fit for DMS, and their addition to our national fleet allows us to continue to meet that growing demand.”

The combined company’s fleet includes a collection of mobile MRI, CT and nuclear medicine systems deployed throughout North America. DMS said it just recently expanded its offerings with the addition of several state-of-the-art digital PET/CT units.
