Solis Mammography opens 2 new imaging centers

Solis Mammography continues to expand in 2026, recently opening two new imaging centers across two states.

The latest location is in Wellington, Florida, a village in Palm Beach County about 66 miles north of Miami. On top of two other centers opened in Florida earlier this year, Solis now operates 15 locations across the Sunshine State.

Founded in 1986 and backed by TowerBrook Capital, Solis now spans over 170 communities, billing itself as the “nation’s largest independent provider of specialized breast health services.”

“With this new center, we’re able to increase access to comprehensive breast health services to more women in the Palm Beach area,” CEO Lisa Ashby said in a statement July 13. “With three locations now in this region, and 15 centers across Florida, we’re dedicated to providing a better mammogram and peace of mind to more women throughout the state.”

Solis said the new center is situated in the Pointe at Wellington Green shopping center. It offers the latest technology including 3D mammography integrated with AI and SmartCurve scanners for greater comfort. Diagnostic mammograms, bone density scans and breast ultrasounds also are available. Patients can opt into Solis’ Mammo+Heart program, an extra-charge service that uses AI to detect breast arterial calcification. The company also touted other patient perks including a “calming and welcoming” imaging center environment, 30-minute appointments, and results received within two business days.

Meanwhile, Solis also is opening a second new location in its hometown of Addison, Texas. Located in the Village on the Parkway shopping mall, the center features a new design approach aimed at providing more “patient centered care.” Solis said the outpost is being run in partnership with Medical City Healthcare, a Dallas-Fort Worth system that is part of hospital giant HCA.

Leaders noted that the Addison location is based on “extensive research” with an eye toward delivering a “peace of mind mammogram” and empowering “repeat breast health engagement.”

“We’re thrilled to have a newly designed center in our own backyard, that can be shared with the women of the Addison community,” CEO Ashby, who joined the company in February, said in a separate statement June 15.
